If I don't know what equipment I need, will someone help me?
Yes! Tell us about your project and one of our rental professionals will recommend the best equipment for the job, and often provide you with a few helpful hints to make your job easier.

What do I need to rent equipment from Rosal's?
You will need a valid Connecticut Drivers License to rent equipment from Rosal's. A deposit is usually required. In lieu of cash or check, most of our customers use a credit card for a deposit.

Can I reserve equipment in advance?
We invite you to reserve equipment in advance to insure availability. Reserve your equipment as early as possible. Please cancel reservations if your plans change. Reservations are gladly taken over the phone.

Will someone show me how to use the equipment I rent?
Our rental service tech's will show you the safe and correct operation of the equipment that you rent. It will be started for you before it is loaded into your vehicle, or when it is delivered, and any questions you have will be answered.

Can I buy a piece of equipment that I have rented?
Most of our rental equipment is for sale at any time. Our used equipment is a great buy because we maintain it so that it is always ready to rent. When a piece of equipment can stand up to tough rental use, then you can be sure it is durable and easy-to-maintain. If you want to buy the actual piece of equipment that you have rented, we will apply a portion of the rental charges toward the purchase price.

How do your rentals rates work?
We sell time. Equipment is rented by the day, week or 4 week period. Some equipment can be rented for a 4 hour rental minimum. One day's rent is up to a 24 hour period. Example -- If you rent equipment for a one day period at 10 a.m. one day, then it is due for return by 10 a.m. the next day. If you rent the equipment for a week on Monday at noon, it is due to be returned before the next Monday at noon.

Do you have any weekend specials?
Our Spring/Summer/Fall Weekend Rate is as follows: Rent any item Saturday until 8am Monday morning,
get two days use and only pay for one and a half days. Example: LOADER, THOMAS 1700 66" BUCKET rents for $195.00/day. You get it for 2 days for only $292.50 instead of the regular price of $390.00. You save $97.50.

Our Winter Weekend Rate is as follows: Rent any item Saturday until 8am Monday morning,
get two days use and only pay for one day. Example: LOADER, THOMAS 1700 66" BUCKET rents for $195.00/day. You get it for 2 days for only $195.00 instead of the regular price of $390.00. You save $195.00.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash (with cash deposit - in store only - no cash payments with pickup or delivery), personal and business checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Commercial or governmental charge accounts are available, subject to prior approval.

Can I open a commercial charge account?
We welcome commercial and governmental accounts.
Just click here to download an account application. Print the application, fill it out completely, and fax it to 860-450-0231. Your application will be carefully considered. Please allow up to five business days for processing.

What type of hitch is required on towable equipment?
All of our towable equipment is a 2" ball with the exception of:
CHIPPER,WOOD 12" RAYCO which is a pintle hook.
TRAILER, 16TON ELEC BRAKE PINT which is a pintle hook.
TRAILER DUMP, 4T ELC BR 2 5/16 which is a 2 5/16" ball.
TRAILER, 6TON ELEC BRKE 2 5/16 which is a 2 5/16" ball.
You must have a lighting hook up from your vehicle to the towable equipment before it leaves our premises. We have adapters for most vehicles. If the trailer has electric breaks, then your vehicle must have an electric break controller.

Can you delivery and pick up?
Delivery and pick up service is available at an additional charge. Charges are based on the distance from our store to the delivery site. Our delivery chart is here. We will give you an exact quote for delivery and pickup charges when you place your order. All deliveries are scheduled on a first come first served basis.

Delivery Locations:
All deliveries are "Tail Gate", meaning our truck will pull up to the requested address or location and unload rental equipment near the truck. It is your responsibility to get the rental items where they need to go. i.e. inside a home or building, in the back yard, up any stairs, etc.

All delivery requests other than "tail gate" will be charged by time. Charges will be calculated at $75.00 per hour. If any equipment damage should occur during transport from tailgate to another location, you accept all responsibility. Rosal's equipment staff will use reasonable care, but will not be held responsible for damage to property during such transport.

Preparation of Equipment for Pick up:
All rental equipment must be cleaned and staged where it was dropped off.

The equipment must be ready for pick up during the scheduled time. If the equipment is not ready for pick up during the scheduled time, an additional trip will be required. There will be a charge of 50% of the standard delivery rate for each unsuccessful attempt at pick up. In the event our delivery staff has time to wait, a charge of $75.00 per hour will apply. You are responsible for the security and care of the equipment until it has been picked up.

Do you have delivery and pick up scheduling outside of normal business hours?
Deliveries and pick ups before or after business hours are available on a limited basis and only when scheduled a minimum of one week in advance. You will be charged the standard delivery rate plus $75.00.

I see your trucks everywhere, can I borrow one to help me move?
Sorry, but our insurance does not allow for non-employees to drive our vehicles.

My Non-Profit Organization is holding an event, will you give me a free or discounted rental?
If your organization wishes to be considered for a charitable donation, please fill out Our Donation/Sponsorship form and fax it back to our office at 860-450-0231. Once we receive the completed form, we will review the request and our charitable donation budget. Please be aware that because of the nature of our business, we are always being asked to discount or donate our services, so we are forced to put budgetary restrictions on our donations.

My Company is tax exempt, do you have a form we can fill out?
Yes we do.Please fill out our Tax Exempt form and fax it back to our office at 860-450-0231.

Do you have any job openings?
At this time we do not have any openings, but please stop in and fill out an application so we have it on file if an opening becomes available.
